"Tradewind Treasures" Collection

Gives new life to historic porcelain shards that have lain for centuries (400 years) on the floor of the South China Sea – the sunken cargo of VOC ships that once plied this ancient maritime Silk Route on their way to Holland.

Kraak was the first blue & white porcelain to arrive in Europe in large quantities where it became highly prized. The Ming porcelain charmed buyers with its lively and spontaneous free-painted images of deer, crickets and birds in natural settings. Kraakware inspired the development of blue and white Delftware in Holland to.

This distinctive range of blue & white (pre-Delft) jewelry and artifacts features 17th Century Ming porcelain. Wanli-era bowls also appeared in the still life paintings of the Dutch masters like Rembrandt.

The artistry of the ancient Chinese potters is showcased in original contemporary designs. Each item is individually handcrafted in 'Sterling silver' and is truly one of a kind. This collection is produced from the historic  Wanli shipwreck from 1625.

Our present range features: cufflinks, pendants, bracelet, earrings and medaillons, with certificate and wrapped in beautifull velvet bags. Prizes up from €125,-.
